I bet we are all in the same garden when it comes to negative thinking. Take the same garden of negative thinkers and how many of you are chronic negative thinkers? That is, you just can’t seem to find the habit of thinking in a positive frame. Again, that’s a lot of us still in that garden of self-sabotage. I say self-sabotage because in no way is negative thinking beneficial for us in any way. That kind of thinking causes stress and anxiety which can lead to health issues and many other problems further down the road ( if it hasn’t already presented itself) . So I’m not really talking cynicism or sarcasm, I’m talking about the repeating negative self-talk that’s hindering you from enjoying life to the fullest. Whether somebody knocked the hope out of you, you grew up in a negative family environment, negativity is from lack of self-esteem or confidence, or plainly because you don’t know how to think in a positive light, negative thinking is hindering you from experiencing the joy that would otherwise be present if you were able to pull yourself out of that pessimism.
Not many of us can recognize and admit that negative thinking can control our lives. For those who have the courage to face their issue, you can find help and perhaps understand where the negative thinking is managed in your subconscious. It is so common for our mind to go quickly to a negative place isn’t it? How often do we create stories around a situation or person when really we know very little about the actual event or intention of the person we created the story about. Our minds are always going. Talk about getting right to the ROOT of the issue! I remember when I was tackling my ego and learning to think positively … I wish I would have known to go to a hypnotherapist back then – I remember it being quite the task to undertake. I truly believe that by breaking my negative thinking it Changed My Entire World – profoundly for the better. But yes it can creep back in quite easily … I’ll be doing some self-hypnosis around Positive Thinking. Thanks so much for bringing it up!!!

Robert I totally agree. Getting all the help you can with over coming the negative thoughts and the little voice with in is a great idea and Bunni is an amazing hypnotherapist. She would be a great choice for Positive thinking and for anything else a person would need help with.
Negative thinking is such a bad habit! It’s especially hard to break when we are surrounded by it in our daily lives. Just listen to the news or radio or listen to people in line at the grocery store. Once you become aware of your own negative thought patterns you really start to notice how prevelant negative thinking is in our culture. I am very confident however, that we can change our culture one person at a time. If we can practice the art of being present and interacting with others in a positive manner on a regular basis, eventually we will reach critical mass; something like the 100th Monkey syndrome! It takes practice, and hypnosis is a great way to discipline your mind.
